Common questions
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open the Settings app → tap your name →
Subscriptions → Takeback → Cancel. You'll keep access until the end of the period.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. You can also email us and
we'll remove your data.
The coach can't block my apps.
Takeback needs Screen Time access to step in. Open the Settings app → Screen Time, make
sure it's on, then in Takeback grant access when asked. You can re-check permissions in
Settings → Takeback.
My step goal isn't updating.
Steps are optional and come from Apple Health. Open the Health app → Sharing → Apps
→ Takeback and make sure Steps is allowed. The app works fine without it.
I'm a beta tester and something broke.
