These Terms govern your use of the Takeback app, provided by Gatarn Games Ltd ("Clickstan", "we", "us"). By using Takeback, you agree to them.
The service
Takeback is a screen-time app with an AI coach that helps you set limits and earn the time you actually want. It's a self-improvement tool, not medical, psychological, or clinical advice.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, to use Takeback.
Subscriptions & billing
- Takeback is offered through auto-renewable subscriptions sold via the Apple App Store.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged within 24 hours before each renewal.
- You manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you subscribe. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
Acceptable use
Please don't misuse the app: no reverse-engineering, interfering with its operation, or using it in any unlawful way.
Intellectual property
The app, its content, and its branding (including Time Guard) are owned by us and our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Takeback for its intended purpose.
Disclaimers
Takeback is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. It can help you build better habits, but results vary, and it is not a substitute for professional help.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
